summer 2010 orphan host program being planned now
supporting the orphans and orphanages of the Ukraine
When your a child living in an orphanage, Santa doesn't always find his way to your. That's where we come in. Every year our Christmas project, Santa's Shoebox, provides holiday gifts to orphaned children.
There are over 100,000 orphans in Ukraine today. Ninety percent are considered social orphans, abandoned by their parents or removed from their care due to abuse or neglect. Most will not be adopted and will leave the orphanage systme at the age of 16. The statistics on what the future holds for these children are truly horrific. This is one cause where the help of one person can truly make a difference. Please consider joining World Orphan Project in being that person, that difference that will add hope to the lives of these children.
